The Oberlin Food Hub (Hub) located in Oberlin, Ohio supports wholesale aggregation and distribution of agricultural products grown by small and medium sized farmers and products made by local food entrepreneurs for sale to wholesale buyers. The Hub offers you, a wholesale buyer, fresh local products direct to your location through one access point. Through this streamlined process, you will gain access to numerous local products previously unavailable without a significant investment of resources.
The Hub delivers to wholesale buyers throughout Northeast Ohio with frequent delivery options for locations in Cuyahoga, Erie, Huron, and Lorain counties.
The Oberlin Food Hub partners with a the platform, Farm Fare. Farm Fare provides software that connects local food supply through food hubs and coordinates transportation using existing assets, ie: independently owned vehicles. Farm Fare currently works with four food hubs in the region, including Lake to River (Region IV: Youngstown, Ohio), Hattie’s Hub (Region IV: Akron, Ohio), Local Roots (Region III: Wooster, Ohio) and Oberlin Food Hub (Region II/III: Oberlin, Ohio). The Oberlin Food Hub is a proud partner with Farm Fare, supplying local fruit and vegetables to Region II & III public schools as a direct result of winning the Ohio School Council’s preferred vendor status for distribution of local food.
